German Intensive Course


In the intensive courses "German as a Foreign Language" participants give particpants the opportunity to learn German for academic and professional purposes. Thus, the courses also systematically prepare participants for the German Language University Entrance Examination for Foreign Candidates (DSH - Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang). Courses are offered every month.

 

The intensive courses "German as a Foreign Language" are open to all participants who are looking for an opportunity to learn German or improve their language proficiency on an academic level.

Course concept and course content

  • Intensive language courses on levels A1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
  • each course comprises 90 teaching units (1 unit = 45 minutes)
  • Classes are taught 5 days a week in the morning or in the afternoon
  • general language instruction (grammar, vocabulary, reading a listening comprehension, text production, speaking)
  • focus on language structures for academic usage and vocabulary for professional and academic purposes
